New Patients at Davis Chiropractic

If you’ve ever gone to a social event where you didn’t know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel. Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home.

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that. So, check us out here. Poke around. Get to know us. Then, contact us to make an appointment so we can get to know you.

Your First Visit

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way! New patients often remark how “friendly” our office is. That’s good because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding.

You will find plenty of parking. You will be greeted by name when you enter our office and given some brief paperwork to fill out. Dawn will escort you to the consultation and exam room where Dr. Davis will join you shortly. The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your current condition and health goals to see if chiropractic care will likely help you. If things look promising, a thorough examination will help identify the cause of your problem. You should allow approximately 30-45 minutes for this visit.

Your Second Visit

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you. I will review your history and exam findings from the initial visit. Explain the cause of your condition, how we can help and how long it will take. We call this your report of findings, which is usually on the following day. Allow approximately 30 minutes for this visit. This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives the doctor time to correlate your history and exam findings.
  • In certain situations, and in the professional judgement of Dr. Davis, we sometimes make exceptions. It depends on your unique situation.

Regular Visits

After the investment of the time required for the first two visits patients are sometimes concerned. Don’t be, a typical daily visit is usually 10-15 minutes. We value your time as much as ours. Don’t think the brevity of your regular visit lessens its value! With the initial groundwork laid, Dr. Davis can quickly evaluate your spine and nervous system, adjust you and have you on your way.

Like a regular workout at the gym each visit builds on the ones before. Miss a visit and you may lose the momentum necessaryto make the needed changes.
